Arts in the Park Announces Schedules

Arts Place, Inc. recently announced its 2017 Arts in the Parks schedule.  The program provides workshops that introduce children to visual and performing arts experiences.  Arts in the Parks provides youth arts activities in Auglaize and Mercer Counties in Ohio. The fee for participation is $5, regardless of class length. Four or more classes can be taken for $20. Scholarships are available to students with financial need. Students aged six and older and who have completed the Kindergarten by spring of 2017 may sign up on a first-come, first served basis. Parents are encouraged to volunteer to assist. Class sites for 2017 will be located in Berne, Dunkirk, Hartford City, Montpelier, Pennville, and Portland, in Indiana; and Celina, Coldwater, Fort Recovery, Minster, New Bremen, St. Henry, and St. Marys in Ohio.  Class catalogs and registration forms are available online at Printed catalogs will be available and distributed to area schools and businesses the week of May 8.
