Minster, Fort Loramie Propelled by Regional Titles to State Track

The Minster girls and Fort Loramie boys track teams continued their march towards Columbus in championship form, collecting Division III regional crowns on Saturday at Troy.

The Wildcat girls ran away with it, scoring 85 points —35 clear of second-place Anna. The Minster girls are sending 11 athletes to Columbus, while three of those (Cassie Francis, Madeline Magoto and Emma Watcke) are competing in three events apiece at state.

Fort Loramie's boys piled up 74 points — well clear of second-place Twin Valley South's 48 points. The Fort Loramie boys are sending 10 athletes to Jesse Owens, with four of them (Joe Ballas, Tom Ballas, Alan Holdheide and Jarrett Meyer)competing in three events apiece.
