Entries Sought for Fort Loramie's Liberty Days 50th Annual Parade

Entries for the 2018 50th Anniversay Fort Loramie Liberty Days Parade are being sought by the Liberty Days Parade Committee.

The special 50th anniversary event will be held Saturday, June 30 at 12 noon, during the community’s annual Liberty Days Fourth of July festival in Fort Loramie.

The theme of the Parade is “50 years, Celebrating Old Time 4th of July.”

Prizes will be awarded for Best Theme, Most Patriotic and Mayor’s Trophy. The parade route will begin at Fort Loramie High School, proceed west down Greenback Road to S. Main Street/State Route 66, then travel north up S. Main Street, turning east on Lane Street past the festival grounds and ending shortly thereafter.

The 2018 Parade Committee seeks parade entries including rolling stock, marching units, equine units, bands, community organizations, family entertainment and businesses.
