Fort Loramie Drama Club Performs 'Wizard of Oz' This Weekend

Fort Loramie Drama Club will present "The Wizard of Oz" at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 31 and will perform two shows on Sunday, April 2. The first show raises the curtain at 1 p.m. and the second show begins at 6 p.m. on the elementary school stage.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased at the door. There will also be concessions and flowers available for purchase. All proceeds will go to the Fort Loramie Drama Club.

Cast members include Kayla Rosengarten as Dorothy, Caitlin Meyer as Zeke/Cowardly Lion, Collin Luthman as Hunk/Scarecrow, Lydia Stricker as Hickory/Tinman, Cecily Keller as Aunt Em, Chloe Scheer as Glinda the Good Witch, Allison Meyer as Miss Almira Gulch/Wicked Witch, Luke Geise appears as Uncle Henry/Oz, Miranda Berning as Professor Marvel and Marissa Riethman as the Emerald City Guard. The three trees are Miranda Berning, Danielle Berning and Maddison Lessing. The two crows are Kaden Mescher and James Keller. Jitterbug Dance leader is Savannah Henning. Isaiah Scheer performs as Mayor of the Munchkins. The citizens of Oz are Miranda Berning, Cecily Keller, Jenna Rosengarten, Savannah Henning, Maddison Lessing, Danielle Berning, Kiersten Yates, Kaden Mescher and James Keller. Stage crew members are Hunter Barga, Logan Gigandet and Cole Pence.
