Marion Local High School To Present Footloose

More than 70 Marion Local High School students will take the stage as they present this year's musical, “Footloose!”

The Cast… The beautiful, rebellious preacher’s daughter, Ariel is played by senior, Olivia Budde, while senior Seth Pierron will have you quickly falling in love with his character, the fun-loving, witty Ren.  Jonathan Schmitz, senior, portrays the charming, conservative Reverend Shaw Moore as sophmore, Hope Ranly plays his good humored wife, Vi.  Ren’s intelligent, resilient mother, Ethel, is brought to life by senior Emily Meyer who is also the show’s student director.  Senior Nathan Heitkamp is guaranteed to make you laugh as Ren’s new best friend with 2 left feet!  The sassy and self-assured, deeply romantic Rusty will be portrayed by junior, Emma Brunswick.

 Performances will be in the Marion Local High School gym Friday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday April 29 at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online by following the link at and can also be purchased at the door (based on availability). Tickets are $8 adults and $5 for students.
