Minster gave it one last run at extending its season but fell up a shot short against St. Henry while Marion Local rolled to a win over New Bremen at the Division IV district in Wapakoneta on Tuesday night.

Minster fell behind by nine points midway through the fourth quarter but rallied to get to within two points when Adam Knapke scored five straight points with a 3-pointer and two point basket and Mike Ketner added another basket in the closing minute. After a St. Henry missed  free throw, Minster had the ball down by two points with time running out. Knapke's shot game-tying shot didn't go down and St. Henry escaped with the 49-46 win.

Mike Ketner led Minster with 11 points. Curtis Uhlenhake paced St. Henry with 15 points.

In the opener, Marion Local, the Midwest Athletic Conference champion and top seed in the district, routed New Bremen 61-31 for its 20th win of the season.
