MINSTER – Minster Civic Association as part of its “Link and Learn” brought together a roomful of local business people Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Minster Elementary School's large meeting room to hear a panel discussion of best business practices and application of those practices elicited by six local business leaders.
Discussion centered around three topics: “How to build a business that endures” which was addressed by Doug Borchers, President of Superior Aluminum Products of Russia, and Kurt Barhorst, President of Air Handling Equipment of Sidney; business “culture” which was discussed by John Brooks, President and CEO of Buckeye Insurance Group of Piqua and Matt Hoying, President of Choice One Engineering of Sidney; and “strategic planning” covered by Irvin Bowman, President of Wayne Truck & Trailer, Ltd. of Sidney and Jeff Meyer, President of Meyer Restoration of Piqua. Moderating the discussion were Nicole Dalichau, Director of Research & Development, and Stacy Sheldon, Marketing Manager, -- both of Aileron Professional Management from Tipp City.
