Minster Zoning Board to Hear Two Variance Requests on Feb. 13

Staff Writer

The Minster Board of Zoning Appeals will consider two variances at its Tuesday, Feb. 13 meeting.

Danae and Ike Hoying would like to open a salon and spa in the building located at 234 E. Fourth Street in Minster. The facility currently has four parking spaces, while Minster Zoning Code calls for six parking spaces. The Hoyings are asking for a variance on the required parking.

Jenny and Ben Felice are asking to build a front porch on their N. Frankfort St. home in Minster. Current zoning code requires 25.5 feet from the front of the yard setback. The Felice’s porch would be 17 feet from the front property line. They are requesting a variance.

Any person wishing to comment on the proposed appeals may attend the meeting or call the Zoning Administrator or a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals.
