MINSTER – As of right now, two months of winter have passed and there’s one more to go. Outside of a couple of cold snaps during which temperatures have hovered around zero and a handful of days with snow flurries, this winter in the area has left a relatively light footprint on our landscape. Streets and roadways have been cleared quickly and effectively as needed. So it has been but, for the most part, the crew at the Minster Street Department, Superintendent Gary Meyer and his guys, have remained at the ready but have not been tested thus far this season as much as they have in the past years.
